Garage door supplier in Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, TX

The Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex spans a wide band of North Texas cities, from Dallas and Fort Worth at its core to dozens of suburban communities in every direction. Homes across the region face some of the most demanding garage door conditions in the country: summers that push past 105°F, spring hailstorms that dent panels without warning, and winter cold snaps that freeze weather seals to the ground. The housing stock ranges from 1950s brick ranches in established neighborhoods to brand-new master-planned subdivisions, meaning garage doors of every age and configuration are in use across the metro. That mix of climate stress and varied housing eras keeps garage door repair and replacement in constant demand throughout the region.

Garage Door Supplier

Family-Owned Garage Door Service Across All of DFW

This business grew out of a background in residential construction and custom home remodeling. That means when we look at a garage door problem, we read the whole opening: the framing, the header, the track mounting, and the hardware. Most garage door calls in DFW trace back to one failed component, but a construction eye catches what else is wearing out before it becomes the next call.

We are a family-owned operation, and we serve the Metroplex with the same pricing we would want for our own family. We hold a particular respect for veterans, first responders, and seniors, and we back that up with the lowest prices we can offer without cutting corners on parts quality. The DFW market has no shortage of garage door companies; we compete on honesty and on the quality of what we leave behind.

The 30-mile radius from our Arlington base puts us within reach of the full core of the Metroplex, from the Mid-Cities corridor to the southern suburbs. We carry parts for the door sizes and opener models most common in DFW's residential stock, so we are not making extra trips or asking you to wait on an order. When a spring breaks or an opener fails, we come ready to finish the job.

Every service, available in Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, TX

Across the Metroplex, garage door repair is the most urgent call we receive, driven by spring failures that spike after the first hard freeze each fall and opener failures that surface during peak summer heat. Garage door replacement is equally common in neighborhoods where doors installed in the 1980s and 1990s have reached the end of their service life. New garage door openers are in high demand throughout the region as homeowners upgrade from chain-drive units to quieter, smarter systems. Because we work across such a wide geography, we stock parts for the full range of door sizes and opener types found in DFW homes.

David, owner, got back with us in reasonable about of time every time we sent a text. The other 2 businesses sometimes would take a day or 2.:( He also communicated very well with us every step of the way until the doors were installed. Last but definitely not least, we got the doors we wanted with windows for the best price of the 3 businesses we got bids from. Thank you Atlas overhead garage doors. Will definitely refer and use them for maintenance.

My garage door opener bit the dust unexpectedly and David did an excellent job installing a new unit. He also advised me that the old springs were of the wrong size, but they would suffice for the time being. He didn't try to upsell me on the springs but I decided to replace them anyway! Definitely high quality work, high quality (non-builder grade) equipment and great pricing. Bravo sir

Atlas Overhead replaced my garage door opener. He was professional and did excellent work. He charged a fair price considering all the work that needed to be done. I am impressed with my new garage door opener and his excellent work and service. I recommend David to anyone needing work on garage door work.

we finally decided to go with a full garage door replacement after years of patching up the old one. A friend in East Arlington had used Atlas Overhead and said they were great. he was right... The whole process was easy, they helped us pick the right door and the installation came out perfect. The new door looks AMAZING and runs so smooth. Totally worth it!!

Garage Door Supplier FAQ for Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, TX

Common questions from Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, TX customers about our services, process, and coverage.

DFW summers push garage interiors past 120°F, which expands spring steel and accelerates metal fatigue with every cycle. Then the first hard cold snap of fall causes rapid contraction, and that is when springs that were weakened all summer finally snap. North Texas temperature swings of 40°F or more between day and night during spring and fall add to the stress. Springs in this climate often reach the end of their rated cycle life faster than the national average.

Yes, we cover both counties and the cities between them, including the Mid-Cities corridor. Our home base in south Arlington puts us centrally located for the full core of the Metroplex. We carry parts for the door sizes and opener models common across both counties.

Yes. Spring hailstorms in North Texas can dent steel panels deeply enough that the door no longer seals properly or tracks smoothly. Shallow dents may be cosmetic, but panels that are buckled or creased along a seam typically need replacement rather than repair. We can assess the damage and tell you honestly whether repair or a new door makes more sense for your situation.

Belt-drive and direct-drive openers run cooler and quieter than chain-drive units, which matters in a garage that can reach 120°F in summer. Openers with thermal protection built in will shut off before they overheat, but an insulated door reduces the garage temperature enough to extend opener life significantly. We can walk you through the options that fit your door weight and your budget.
